Onboarding Steps

Choose Your Role

Select whether you’re a director, leaseholder, or managing agent. This personalises your experience.

Enter Building Details

Provide your building name, address, and basic information. We’ll pre-fill what we can from address lookup.

Explore Demo Mode

Your building is instantly populated with sample data - issues, finances, documents - so you can explore every feature.

Invite Your Team

Send email invitations to other directors and leaseholders. They’ll receive a magic link to join.

Go Live

When you’re ready, activate your account to clear demo data and start managing your real building.

Demo Mode Features

When you first sign up, your building is seeded with realistic demo data including:
  • Lift maintenance request (in progress)
  • Broken entry phone (resolved)
  • Communal lighting (reported)
  • Cleaning schedule review (pending)
  • Current year budget and actuals
  • Service charge collection status
  • Reserve fund balance
  • Sample invoices and payments
  • Sample lease document
  • Buildings insurance certificate
  • Fire risk assessment
  • Previous AGM minutes
  • Upcoming AGM scheduled
  • Past EGM with resolutions
  • Resident meeting minutes
Demo data is clearly marked throughout the platform. It will be removed when you activate your full account.

Analytics & Insights

We use PostHog analytics (privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant) to understand how users navigate onboarding. This helps us improve the experience for everyone. What we track:
  • Onboarding step completion rates
  • Time spent on each step
  • Feature exploration patterns
  • Drop-off points (so we can improve)
What we don’t track:
  • Personal information
  • Building addresses
  • Financial data
  • Document contents
You can opt out of analytics at any time in Settings → Privacy.
