Reporting an Issue
If something needs fixing or attention in your building, you can report it directly through Manage.Management. This keeps a clear record and helps directors or management companies track progress. What you can report
Maintenance
Repairs, leaks, broken fixtures, communal area problems, and wear-and-tear
Safety
Fire safety concerns, trip hazards, security issues, and structural worries
Financial
Queries about service charges, invoices, or budget questions
General
Noise complaints, neighbour issues, or anything else affecting the building
How to report
Choose the issue type
Select Maintenance, Safety, Financial, or General depending on what you are reporting.
Describe the problem
Write a clear title and description. Include:
- Exact location (e.g., “Ground floor lift lobby”)
- What is wrong
- When it started
- Whether it affects just you or the whole building
Add photos or documents
Attach photos or files if they help explain the issue. This is especially useful for maintenance and safety reports.
Set severity
Choose Low, Medium, High, or Critical. Reserve Critical for genuine safety emergencies or urgent faults.
What happens next
Once you submit an issue:- It appears in the building’s issue list with status Reported
- Directors or managers review and may change the status to In Progress or Scheduled
- You can check back anytime to see updates and comments
- When resolved, the status changes to Completed
Tips for better reports
Be specific
“Lift in lobby not working since Tuesday” is better than “Lift broken”
Include photos
A photo of a leak, damage, or fault helps the team understand without visiting first
Use the right type
Safety issues get faster attention when correctly categorised
One issue per report
Separate reports make tracking and resolution clearer for everyone
