How It Works

Create a Job
Navigate to Supplier Network in your dashboard and click Post New Job. Fill in the job details including:
- Job title and description
- Trade category (plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.)
- Property address and access details
- Preferred dates and time slots
- Budget estimate

Receive Quotes
Verified tradespeople in your area review your job and submit competitive quotes. You’ll receive notifications when new quotes arrive.

Choose and Book
Compare quotes, check reviews and ratings, then select the tradesperson that best suits your needs. Confirm the booking directly through the platform.

Track Progress
Monitor job status from your dashboard. Once complete, confirm the work and leave a review to help other property managers.
Job Types

Scheduling Jobs
When posting a job, you’ll need to provide:- Minimum 3 time slots (maximum 10)
- Date range: 2-28 days from posting
- Time preferences: Morning (8am-12pm), Afternoon (12pm-5pm), or Evening (5pm-8pm)
Pricing
- Budget range: £10 - £1,000,000
- Payment: Handled securely through Checkatrade’s payment system
- Quotes: Tradespeople provide detailed quotes with breakdowns
Property Details
For accurate quotes, you’ll need to provide:- Property type: House, flat, office, retail, etc.
- Parking availability: Whether parking is available for trade vehicles
- Customer presence: Whether someone will be on-site during the work
- Access instructions: Gate codes, entry phone details, special access requirements
Contact Information
Each job requires:- Business contact: The director or manager responsible for the job
- On-site contact: The person who will meet the tradesperson (can be same as business contact)

Viewing Your Jobs
- Go to Supplier Network in your dashboard
- Click Find Tradespeople tab
- Select Your Jobs to see all your Checkatrade jobs
- Click any job to view details, quotes, and status updates
