Overview

The RTM process requires several statutory notices to be served at specific times. Our Notice Generator creates compliant documents with the correct wording and formatting.
Notices must be served correctly to be valid. Incorrect notices can invalidate your RTM claim.

Available Notices

Notice of Invitation to Participate

Sent to all qualifying tenants before the claim notice. Required content:
  • Statement that an RTM company has been formed
  • Invitation to become a member
  • Explanation of the right to participate
  • Time limit for response (minimum 14 days)

Claim Notice

The formal notice served on the landlord to claim the Right to Manage. Required content:
  • Name of the RTM company
  • Address of the building
  • Statement that the RTM company intends to acquire management
  • Proposed acquisition date (minimum 3 months ahead)
  • List of participating members
  • Landlord’s right to serve counter-notice
