# Management Company Workspace

> Set up your portfolio, assign staff access, switch buildings, and use supplier and integration workflows from one admin workspace

## Overview

Management-company users start in a portfolio workspace rather than a single-building dashboard. This is where you set up the organisation, invite staff, choose the right building, and then move into day-to-day building operations.

## What this workspace covers

> **Set up your portfolio, Brand Kit & Accept Payments**
>
> Configure agency details, upload your **Management Company Brand Kit** (Primary, Secondary Black Print & Icon logos), configure your **Co-Branded Portal** (`/with/:slug/login`), add regulatory badges and insurance records, enable **Jurisdiction Packs**, and set up **Accept Payments** (BACS trust accounts, Mollie Connect building profiles, and Additional Fees).

> **Platform Migration & Bulk Import**
>
> Migrate portfolios via the **Blocks Online Import Wizard** (with pre-import validation, exception reporting, legacy references, trusted contacts, PEEPs, and deterministic £0.00 Trial Balance Reconciler), bulk spreadsheet imports, or MRI Qube expenditure imports.

> **Team & Lead PM Management**
>
> Invite staff, assign sub-roles (Portfolio Admin, Property Manager, Finance Manager), allocate **Lead Property Managers** per block, and configure **Microsoft 365 Mailbox Delegations**.

> **Portfolio Map & Scope Toggle**
>
> Use the Quick Navigator (`⌘K` / `Ctrl+K`), toggle **View Full Portfolio / Current Building** across Building Safety, Calendar, Issues, and Meetings, and plan site visits on the full-screen Portfolio Map.

## Typical setup flow

**1. Complete Portfolio Setup**

Start with your organisation details, then add buildings one by one or use the bulk-import flow where that suits your portfolio.

**2. Invite staff into the right access level**

Use **Team Management** to invite colleagues and make sure each person has the right level of responsibility before they begin operational work.

**3. Assign the right sub-role**

Portfolio admins can assign sub-roles so access matches whether someone needs broad admin control, day-to-day property management, or finance-led responsibility.

**4. Select a building before daily work**

Once setup is complete, choose the building you want to work on before opening issues, finances, meetings, communications, or documents.

**5. Use supplier and integration tools where relevant**

The supplier workflow and MRI-related setup appear as supporting tools for operational and finance work rather than as a separate standalone product.

## How sub-roles shape the workspace

| Sub-role | Typical focus |
| - | - |
| **Portfolio admin** | Broad control across setup, buildings, staffing, suppliers, and operational access |
| **Property manager** | Building-by-building operational work such as issues, meetings, communications, and day-to-day coordination |
| **Finance manager** | Finance-led workflows, reporting, and related building operations |
